East Tennessee / Anderson County
Anderson County TN Real Estate
Anderson County sits in the northern part of East Tennessee, along the Clinch River. Before it was a county, pioneer families settled the land. Clinton is the county seat, and the county was shaped by the Tennessee Valley Authority, which built Norris Dam in the 1930s.
Oak Ridge began in 1942 as a secret city for the Manhattan Project and is still known as the Atomic City, with a national laboratory, museums and miles of greenway. Norris was built by the TVA in 1933 as a planned community for dam workers. Rocky Top changed its name from Lake City in 2014, and Oliver Springs and Andersonville round out a county of small towns and lake views.
Anderson County is a strong choice for buyers who want lake access on Norris Lake, and a quick drive to Knoxville. Pick a community below to see what is for sale.

I spent a good part of my life running like a bull, only to eventually discover I was standing in a china shop. I broke a few things. Fell down more than a few times. And somewhere along the way, by the grace of God, I learned that getting back up can teach a man considerably more than never falling in the first place.
So, if you're looking for the normal Realtor bio, I should probably apologize now. This isn't one.
