GOOD TO KNOW
Facts worth knowing
Good to know: In November 2016 the Chimney Tops 2 Fire burned 11,410 acres in the national park and merged with other fires; the Sevier County fires caused 14 deaths. About 6,000 acres burned outside the park in Sevier County.
Good to know: Check any address on the free FEMA Flood Map Service Center. A new flood insurance policy through the national program usually starts 30 days after you apply and pay, unless it is bought along with a new loan, so do not wait until closing week.
